Panhandle Farmers Mutual Insurance Company offers a variety of property and casualty insurance products primarily designed to meet the needs of the small rural communities of West Virginia. The Company presently writes dwelling fire, allied lines, homeowners, mobile homeowners, farms, small commercial and liability coverage. The company offers preferred and standard homeowner programs for properties across the state. This section includes homeowners, mobile homeowners and doublewide mobile homeowners. Our policies forms are structured from Basic (Form 1), Broad (Form 2), Special ACV or RC (Form 3) and HO-Renters or MH-Renters (Form 4) policies. We do offer a Special RC (Form 3), which contains replacement cost coverage on the property for both homeowners and doublewide mobile homeowners. Some of our endorsements that are available include replacement cost coverage on contents, coal mine subsidence, jewelry floater, farm liability, all-terrain vehicle property coverage and refrigerated food loss.
Business Owner Policy
The company offers a Business owner program with policies that covers property on a Risk Not Excluded or a Named Peril basis. The policy is designed for various smaller business operations that include offices, mercantile and churches. We provide the opportunity to write coverage based on fair market value as opposed to requiring replacement cost value.
